New Business Card

Yep! My new business cards have just arrived from the designers. Long awaited indeed. Its a normal business card size, back and forth design, concept worked around a screenshot of Facebook App on iPhone mobile device. Already there's a critic of my facebook wall about that. So why such a concept?

Well, the idea was to come up with something different but with these elements "Simple Clean Frontside" and a the "iPhone & Facebook App replica screen" which says I play in the same space of Mobile Apps, be it for Mobile/Digital Marketing or Mobile Application Development.

On top of that, it says we love technology and enjoy the Social element that Facebook and other social networks has brought to our daily interaction with the internet and how Mobile devices have quickly became the easiest and enjoyable vehicle to deliver the messages to the masses.

We all know social networks and smart mobiles are the future, so that's all I am trying to say to when I give you my business card, saying "Nice meeting you :)"

Software Development FET Colleges

I haven't done a detailed research onto whether there is an existing FET College focused of Software Development or not, especially for young Black kids. So far I have learned that FET Colleges can accommodate learners from as early as they complete Grade 9, and train them on a specific skill e.g. Bricklaying, Artisan, Boilermaking and more with a clear aim of putting them up for employment as soon as they complete Grade 12 level at the College.

New website, new beginnings, new direction

We always ask: How can you say you design and develop websites but you don't have your's?

Basically that's what pushed me to move so quick and be creative to come up with this new baby (www.studio1909.co.za). Believe it or not, the website design and development, including the content took only two days, YES two days straight. The truth: It took me 2 months thinking about it, until the idea hit me and I just let the creative juices flow non stop.
